SMS Terms of Service

These terms apply to the text message program operated by Okudoh Consulting ("we", "us"). By giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you accept these terms.
What the program is
We send text messages to existing consulting clients only, about their own engagement with us. Messages are limited to:
- appointment and meeting reminders
- scheduling confirmations and changes
- notifications that a deliverable, summary or document has been sent to your email
We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program, and we do not send messages on behalf of any third party.
How you join
Consent is collected directly from you, on our opt-in form at okudoh.com/sms-optin. You enter the mobile number you want us to use and tick a consent box that is unchecked by default. That box is optional: you can submit the form without ticking it, and when you do, nothing is saved and we never text you. Consent is not a condition of purchase and is never required to work with us. We record the date, time, IP address and the exact wording you agreed to with each consent.
We never buy, rent, or otherwise obtain mobile numbers for this program from a third party.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your engagement — typically a few messages per month. You will only receive a message when something specific to you happens.
Cost
We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@okudoh.com.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. You can also reply END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE. To start again later, reply START.
Opting out of texts does not affect your engagement with us — we simply continue by email and phone as normal.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is outside our control.
Your information
We will not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers collected for this program are used only to send the messages described above. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information generally.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always at okudoh.com/sms, with the date it was last changed shown at the top.
